How may I pay for the Day Coachin’ trips?

Acceptable forms of payment are check or cash only.

Where are the pick-up points?

You have four options to choose from; Bay City: Meijer on Wilder Rd, Saginaw: Meijer on Tittabawasee, Frankenmuth: Frankenmuth Travel office (rear of building), Flint: Sams Club, Corunna Rd.

Is there adequate complimentary parking at the locations?

Yes

When should I be at the pick-up location?

Please be at the pick-up location a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time listed on your invoice.

What do I need to bring with me?

It is recommended that you wear comfortable walking shoes, dress appropriately for theater events and bring suntan lotion and a hat for outdoor sporting events.

Who determines where we sit on the bus?

Seating is first come-first served. Each tour operator has its own rotation policy.

How much should we tip the driver and tour guide?

Generally $1 - $3 per person per day.

Are there meals included in the tours?

Meals are included in many tours. Details are outlined in your tour description.

How many people will be in the group/tour?

Group sizes vary from 26 to 55 passengers.

Will I have free time to do activities other than what is in the tour?

Yes. Free time is outlined in your tour description and varies per tour.

Where do I get my tickets/confirmation?

Your final documents arrive at our agency approximately 21 to 14 days prior to your departure. Once received and reviewed, your professional Travel Consultant will contact you for review and pick up.

Is there a bathroom onboard the coach?

Yes

Are meals included in the tour cost?

In some cases, lunch is included. If not, we will make a meal stop which would be at your expense. If a meal is included, it will be noted.

When do I get event or function tickets?

If your trip involves an admission or function ticket your tour escort will hand out aboard the coach.

I have physical limitations. May I still travel with the tour?

In the event that you have any special needs, it is important that you notify your Travel Consultant PRIOR to making your reservations.

Do you offer a cancellation waiver and if so why should I buy it?

Yes, each Day Coachin' tour does have the option to purchase a cancellation waiver. The cost is only $10 and is highly recommended. This waiver allows you to cancel your tour up to 48 hours prior to the tour date for ANY REASON.

When should I sign up?

A deposit is required to guarantee your reservation, therefore, it is highly recommended you sign up as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Many tours sell out early.

Yes, each motor coach trip has a tour escort to accompany the group.

All itineraries, luggage tags and information sheet will be mailed 2 weeks prior to your departure.

How many pieces of luggage may I bring?

Each person is allowed 1 overnight and 1 large suitcase. You are also permitted to bring a small tote aboard the coach to hold games, reading materials etc.

Can I bring my laptop or DVD player on the coach?

Yes

Is there a rest room on board?

Yes

Will we be rotating seats on the coach?

Your tour escort will discuss this possibility with you. Since each group is unique in size, it varies from group to group.

Are there movies on the bus?

If in the event you bring movies on the bus, viewing to the public is at the discretion of the tour escort and MUST have their approval. If they are unfamiliar with the movie, it may NOT be shown.

How do I know what to wear?

All trips are casual attire. When you receive your documents helpful suggestions will be noted.

At which hotel are we staying?

Hotel accommodations are determined 2-3 weeks prior to your departure date and will be listed in your itinerary.

Do you offer cancellation insurance and if so why should I buy it?

Yes, each Overnight Coachin' trip does have the option to purchase insurance. The cost will vary from trip to trip, and is highly recommended. Insurance will cover losses in the event you cancel for a medical reason due to yourself, immediate family or traveling companion (person rooming with you).

Will we have photo opportunities outside the coach at the attractions or just through the window?

There will be photo opportunities during the tour and are subject to weather and scheduling.
